Robyn has been helping young people navigate childhood and adolescence for over 10 years. In 2007, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy and has since worked as part of school welfare teams to provide support in areas such as Social-Emotional Learning, Conflict and Sexuality. Many young people have found that her caring, non-judgemental demeanour has provided a safe place for them to discuss private difficulties. Robyn is passionate in providing parent education and support, particularly with families that are dealing with ASD and ADHD, as she too is a parent of kids with these disabilities. She has facilitated the courses; ‘Tuning Into Kids’ (Emotion Coaching), ‘Zones of Regulation’ (Self-Regulation), ‘Friends for Life’ (Anxiety), ‘Highway Heroes’ (Resilience) and ‘No Regrets’ (Sexuality). Her therapies draw strategies from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
